# Campaign Planner

**Campaign Planner** writes a campaign plan from the campaign type, objective, tone and platforms you pick. Unlike [Content Calendar](https://guide.aigio.ai/tools/content-calendar), it doesn't add anything to your Calendar.

## Plan a campaign strategy

1. Open **Tools** > **Campaign Planner**.
2. Fill in **Details**:
   - **Who is this campaign for?**: your brand as a whole, or specific products or services.
   - **Campaign type**, then **Objective**. The objectives depend on the type you pick.
   - **Tone**.
   - **Duration** and **Monthly budget** (both optional).
   - **Platforms**: click one or more. The list covers social networks such as **Instagram** and **LinkedIn**, ad platforms such as **Meta Ads** and **Google Ads**, and other channels such as **Email**, **Blog**, **Website**, **Podcast** and **Offline**.
   - **Target audience** and **Focus** (both optional).
3. Click **Plan campaign**.

The plan opens and is added to **History**.
