Read or change a post

  1. Click a post in the list, or the pencil or eye icon on its row. The Post details panel opens on the right, with the post's status and time at the top.
  2. What you can change depends on the status:
    • Draft: change anything, and choose Draft, Publish now or Schedule under When. The button at the bottom changes to match.
    • Scheduled: change the details, the Date or the Time, then click Save changes.
    • Any other status: you can read the post, but not change it.

You can cancel a post that is Scheduled, Unconfirmed or Failed, and discard a Draft.

  1. Click the red icon on the post's row, or at the bottom left of the Post details panel.
  2. A box asks Cancel post? or Discard draft?.
  3. Click Cancel post or Discard, or Keep to go back.

The post stays in the list with the status Cancelled.

Fix posts that need attention

When something needs you, the Posts tab shows a message such as 2 publishing items need attention. Click Review, or open the Needs attention tab.

Each entry says what happened and when, and is marked with how urgent it is:

LabelMeaning
Action requiredSomething failed and needs you to act.
AttentionSomething needs a look.
WaitingAigio is waiting for the platform.

To deal with an entry:

  1. Read the message.
  2. Click the button on the entry if it offers a fix. Where it is safe to do so, Aigio offers one, and a message confirms when it has finished.
  3. To see the whole post, click View post.

You can narrow the list by kind of problem and by platform, using the two lists at the top. Work that started in the last few minutes is hidden, because it may still finish by itself. To see it, turn on Include recent.

If nothing is wrong, you see Nothing needs attention.

Fix a failed post

  1. Open the post. The panel explains why it couldn't be published.
  2. If the account needs connecting again, click Reconnect account, then sign in on the platform.
  3. Click Retry if the panel offers it.

Check an unconfirmed post

  1. Open the post.
  2. Click Check status. A message tells you the post's new status.

Tips

  • Save a post as a Draft so someone else in your workspace can check it before it goes out.
  • Plan your posts in the Calendar, then publish each one with Create post when it is ready.
  • Scheduled posts use your computer's time zone.
  • Connected accounts and posts are shared. Everyone in the workspace can publish to the same accounts, so agree who publishes what.
